Job Title: Product Manager (Commercial) – Collateral Products

Job Purpose

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Product Manager from the capital markets collateral space who is passionate about building products that clients love. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving product focus and collaboration, with a constant focus on delivering organizational Objectives & Key Results (OKRs). You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Education

Postgraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field preferred.

Key Accountabilities

• Understand the market, industry, and competitive landscape, and champion the creation of clear and effective product positioning statements while generating new ideas that improve client experience and drive long-term growth.
• Establish and drive the product strategy and vision.
• Define and manage the product roadmap, and continuously manage expectations with all relevant stakeholders.
• Own the product lifecycle within your product area through ideation, prototyping, development, launch, and iteration of new capabilities and features.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes; scope and prioritize activities based on business and client impact; and work closely with business development, engineering, and operations teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resource utilization.
• Drive prioritization and trade-off decisions, and provide support for executive decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, production, sales, customer success teams, and other stakeholders as required to ensure quick time-to-market and optimal resource utilization.
• Support product training and other sales enablement activities.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• At least 8 years of experience as a Product Manager with a proven track record of delivering products with significant business impact.
• Experience in Financial Services or FinTech, preferably in capital markets Collateral Management, including knowledge of:
  • Custodian banks, tri-party agents, clearing institutions, and CCPs.
  • Eligibility and optimization of collateral.
  • SWIFT, CREST, and CSDs such as Clearstream and Euroclear, as well as trade repositories.
• Good understanding of the market forces at work—including incumbents, competitors, coopetitors, emerging technologies, the digital landscape, changing business models, regulatory and legal frameworks, and geopolitics—that impact financial markets.
• Passion for building great client experiences through a deep understanding of user needs and turning insights into compelling solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience working with both qualitative insights and quantitative data to drive product decisions.
• Experience in data analytics and modeling, visual design, and communicating information in non-technical terms.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to roll up your sleeves and deliver, and a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Experience with and knowledge of rapid and iterative software development methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and other partners to build, ship, and iterate market-leading propositions.
