Job Title: Product Manager (Commercial) – Cash Products

Job Purpose

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Product Manager from the capital markets FX, Cash Management, and Collateral space who is passionate about building products that clients love. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving product focus and collaboration, with a constant focus on delivering organizational Objectives & Key Results (OKRs). You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Education

Postgraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field preferred.

Key Accountabilities

• Understand the market, the industry, the client experience, and the product, while championing users to craft product strategies and generate new ideas that improve client experience and drive long-term growth.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding; represent the company at industry events and with clients to understand the market landscape and gather input on products and services.
• Collect and analyze a wide range of inputs to identify opportunities, ensuring you are always working on the most impactful initiatives by defining and measuring your OKRs.
• Own the product lifecycle within your product area through ideation, prototyping, development, launch, and iteration of new capabilities and features.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes; scope and prioritize activities based on business and client impact; and work closely with business development, engineering, and operations teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resource utilization.
• Work with and through fun-loving, talented, and committed cross-functional team members across product, design, sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and more.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• At least 8 years of experience as a Product Manager with a proven track record of delivering products with significant business impact.
• Experience in Financial Services or FinTech, preferably in the capital markets FX and Cash Management space, including:
  • Strong understanding of capital markets operational risk and controls.
  • Knowledge of the post-trade lifecycle (systems and operations), specifically post-trade confirmation, matching, netting, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT and CLS is desirable.
  • Familiarity with FX products (MM, NDFs, Options) and OTC products (IRS, FRA, etc.) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with settlement venues is desirable.
  • Understanding of FX clearing and settlement execution, including standard message types.
• Good understanding of the market forces at work—including incumbents, competitors, coopetitors, emerging technologies, the digital landscape, changing business models, regulatory and legal frameworks, and geopolitics—that impact financial markets.
• Passion for building great client experiences through a deep understanding of user needs and turning insights into compelling solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience working with both qualitative insights and quantitative data to drive product decisions.
• Experience in data analytics and modeling, visual design, and communicating information in non-technical terms.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to roll up your sleeves and deliver, and a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Experience with and knowledge of rapid and iterative software development methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and other partners to build, ship, and iterate market-leading propositions.
