March 6, 2018 – Baton Systems was named the winner of this year’s DEMOvation Challenge, which took place in San Francisco during the two-day Bank Innovation Conference. Baton was one of 11 fintech startups to present to conference attendees about how they are disrupting the status quo in banking and financial technology. The DEMOvation Challenge is a competition open to fintech startups launched within the last 24 months that possess unique intellectual property or business models that are differentiated from other fintech startups. The competition was broken up into three sessions of four companies each, where each startup had an opportunity to demo their technology and outline what makes them unique. Attendees then voted for the vendor they believed to be the best in each of the three sessions and those three finalists were then asked questions in front of a judging panel that consisted of five industry experts.
